Before you decide.
Yes — mailboxes are addresses on a domain, so email cannot be set up without one. You can pick a domain already on your account, point one you hold elsewhere, or search for a new one first and come back.
Per mailbox, per month. The figure on each plan is what one mailbox costs, so a team of five is five times that. Committing to a longer term lowers the monthly rate, and the exact rates for each term are shown on the configuration step.
It depends on the plan: five gigabytes on Professional, ten on Business and fifty on Enterprise. The allowance is per mailbox rather than pooled across the account.
The number you choose at checkout is what you are billed for. To add or remove mailboxes afterwards, get in touch and we will adjust the service.
Professional is one address for one person: the mailbox, the calendar, the filtering and the apps. Business is where a team starts — several mailboxes in one interface, anti-virus as well as anti-spam, sender blocking and an allowlist, and the first of the sending tools. Enterprise is for people whose work happens in the outbox. The table above is the honest version of this answer; this is the short one.
The tools for people who send a lot of mail, and the security one. Send later holds a finished message until the hour it should land in. Follow-up reminders bring a conversation back when the other side goes quiet. Undo send catches the message you regretted on the way out. Priority inbox, turbo search, grammar and spell check, HTML in the composer and HTML signatures shape what you send and how fast you find it. Send-as-alias keeps a real address out of the reply-to line. And two-factor authentication is here rather than lower down — if that matters to you, it decides the plan. Read receipts, templates and contact groups exist on Business too, capped at ten, one and one; Enterprise lifts the caps.
Mostly, and the honest answer is that nobody can promise more than that. A receiving server decides for itself what to accept and what to file as junk, and no provider controls that decision. What a provider does control is the reputation of the addresses it sends from, and Titan runs and maintains its own — which, along with DKIM signing on your domain, is most of what separates mail that lands in an inbox from mail that lands in a spam folder. Sending bulk campaigns from a mailbox is the fastest way to undo it; use a service built for those.
An address that ends in your own domain — you@yourbusiness.com — instead of a free account at somebody else's name. The mailbox works the same way; what changes is what it says about who sent it. Every person, department and function that needs one can have their own, and each one is billed as a mailbox, so the cost of mail is the size of the team.
Because email is where trust is established or lost. Anyone can open a free account and describe themselves as a business, and enough people have that recipients read a free address that way by default. An address at the domain you own is the one thing a sender cannot fake cheaply.
Yes. Mail needs a domain, not a site — nothing has to be published at the name for addresses on it to work. If you already own one, use it. If you do not, search for a name while you set the mailboxes up and the two are ordered together.
Yes. Titan includes migration tools that copy what is in your current mailboxes — messages, folders and contacts — into the new ones, so a move is a copy rather than a fresh start. Tell us who you are moving from before you order and we will tell you what that particular move involves.
Yes. There is a native application for Android and for iOS, and the webmail works in any current browser, so a mailbox is reachable from a phone, a tablet and a desktop without anything being installed.
Yes. Every message is checked against the platform's anti-spam before it reaches the mailbox, on every plan sold here, which takes most junk and most attachment-borne malware out of the inbox before anybody sees it.
No — not on any Titan plan. Hosting and certificates here carry thirty days and say so; mail carries none, and it is said here rather than left to be discovered after you have paid. What stands in its place is the term: the shortest is one month, on a rate per mailbox, so a plan you are unsure about is a month rather than a year.
